Going Home!!!

We were all so excited to finally go home. Ethan wanted to give hugs and Brock wanted to hold her every minute he could. Every time Kate would cry Brock would tell her that he is there to protect her. What good big brothers!!!!

She's Here!!

Kate Ploeger, born February 18, 2010, 7 lbs 14 oz, 20 1/2" long. When she finally decided it was time to come, she wasted no time, for me it was a bit too fast! We are all doing great and love having her in our family. And of course, the boys, including her daddy, can not get enough of her, they love her to pieces!

These boys LOVE their daddy! He has been out of town for a while, and they sure do miss him. We can't wait till he gets home tomorrow night!!!!

Wow.....am I really going to post this!!!!!

I can't believe I am posting this picture. I really do not like prego pics, but after a couple requests, I gave in. I have been trying to really take it easy this last couple weeks, with Tyler being gone, I really did not want to have this baby early. This is the longest I have ever been pregnant, and I think I want to be done, but not until Tyler is back in town!! Thanks to all the help from family and friends!!! We really do appreciate all of you. Hopefully there will be good news to post early next week!

So Big

The boys are growning up so fast. This was Brock's first week of Sunbeams, I know he is almost 4, but that is what happens with first of the year birthdays. This will also be Ethan's first week of nursery without his big brother. They both did very well. They are getting so big!

New Bunk Bed!

The end of November we purchased a new bunk bed for the boys. With Ethan still in a crib, we were not going to switch him over to Brock's room for another month or so, BUT he was so excited knowing that he was going to be able to sleep on the bottom bed, we went a head and moved Ethan over to Brock's room that night. I think we got really lucky, because they have loved their new bed and loved sharing a room together!!!

Christmas Pics

Thanks to our fun and wonderful neighbors, we were able to visit with Santa at their Christmas party. As you can tell, the boys were not 100% sold on the idea even with presents involved. Brock wanted to write Santa a letter to let him know what he wanted for Christmas, he wrote the letter all by himself, he is doing so good with his letters and writing, he is growing up so fast!

Christmas

I know I am a bit behind, but here are a couple pics from Christmas. We really had a wonderful Christmas this year spending time with family and friends, and starting our own traditions with our growing little family.

Gardner Village

We went to Gardner Village this year with boys. Every Christmas they hide elves around the village, once you find and check them off of a list you take it to the candy store for a free treat. The boys loved it! Brock had his binoculars and Ethan had his magnifying glass looking around trying to find the elves. And also as you can see, they were so excited, running to the candy store when all our elves had been found.

Let it Snow!!!

The boys LOVE the snow. While Tyler was off during the holidays we had a great time outside with the boys in the snow. Although it would be nice if Ethan would play outside longer than it takes to get him all bundled up. Brock on the other hand, we can not get him to come in. The boys love it when Tyler pulls them on the sled, make snowmen and have snowball fights!

Ouch!

We had our first major accident, which I am sure will be only the first of many. Ethan fell at grandma's house and cut his eye on the entertainment table. Doctor dad and mom came to the rescue, with a little bandaid "glue" and bandaid strips, we had him all patched up. We did take him to the doctors because of how open it was, and the fact it was on his head. But, he said that he could not do any better, and that it was a perfect closure, probably better than stitches! And surprisingly enough Ethan did not even mess with the bandage until it was all healed, and it looks great!

First day of Snow

The end of October we had our first "real" snow storm. The boys love the snow and just had to go play.

Growing up so fast!

Brock and Ethan are getting so big! They looked so cute all dressed up for church, I just had to take a picture. I love these handsome boys!

Lovin' the Outdoors

We took an afternoon and went up in the mountains before it got too cold for a little family drive. The boys loved throwing rocks and sticks, or huge logs, into the river. They loved finding rocks and colored leaves, stuffing their pockets and hands as full as possible. We had to do a bit of inventory before we headed back home. I love the fall!
