Last week we went to Gardner Village for a witch hunt. They had about 12 or so witches listed and we had to search around Gardner Village to find them all. When completed we were able to take the list to the bakery to receive a cookie! The boys each had their binoculars and magnifying glasses to help with the search efforts to make sure all the witches were found. They really crack me up. Brock's favorite witch was the one dressed as a firefighter, and Ethan's was the ones playing baseball (of course!).

Soccer
Brock just finished another season of soccer. He really enjoys it, but mostly for the social part, he has not quite grasped the concept of playing soccer with and against another team. He rather give the other kids a chance to kick the ball. He did score a goal and is very good at soccer. When playing at home he is very aggressive and has a serious kick, however, once he gets on the field, he just wants to hang out and have a good time. I am sure we have a many of soccer seasons for him to play and compete, I am glad he is just having fun!

We love Dirt and Rocks!!!
Up at the cabin over conference weekend, they were digging new trenches for water (aka heaven for the boys). So they played for hours on these giant piles of dirt. I have never seen such dirty boys, and girl, she was right in the mix! They loved finding and throwing big rocks and sliding down the mountain of dirt.

Kate - 7 1/2 months old
Kate is getting so big, really, she is over the 98% for height. We were all out doing yard work this past weekend, and she had a ball playing outside, even though it was quite chilly! She is almost crawling, and is always moving! She loves to eat what ever we give her or what ever she can get her hands on! She loves taking baths, books, and playing with the boys.

SIlver Lake
Before the weather got too cold, we wanted to go on a "hike". This was a great little walk around the lake, perfect for the boys. The boys had to stop and look at lots of sticks, rocks, and anything that moved. We had fun getting out and enjoying each other and the beautiful mountains.

Better late than never....Brock's first day of Preschool
Here is my little stud muffin Brock. This is his first day of preschool, although he wishes it were his first day of kindergarten. He had to decorate a face for his first day, and I think he did a really good job with it! He is learning so fast, doing great with reading and of course my little chatter bug is so social. He comes home everyday with a new friend. He loves his teacher and loves going to preschool.

I am a Child of God Exhibit
During the summer while cousins were visiting from New York, we took the kids downtown to the Church Museum to see the I am a Child of God Exhibit. It was so cute. The boys love reading their scripture stories each night, so seeing and being to interact more about stories they have been reading was the greatest! We then were able to visit and have lunch with daddy at work. What a fun day! We can not wait for this exhibit to come again to the museum.

Ace of Cakes!!!
I took a cake decorating class last year and I get the stuff out every once in a while to play around with some cakes and frosting. This time I let the boys join in. I made them each a couple small cakes and let the pick out a bunch of different colors of frosting. I gave them their cakes, let them frost the cake, and then let them have at it. They loved it. So watch out ace of cakes, these boys already know how to use the pastry bags!!

Days of 47 Party
I took the kids to the South Town Expo Center for the Days of 47 Parade preview party. It was so much fun. As you can see, they had face painting, balloon guys, and all the floats. The best part, it was inside with air conditioning, no need to stand outside in the hot July sun to have fun for the Days of 47 parade. The boys loved it, with the spider man face paint to the cool balloon hats and most of all the Real Soccer float. This will now be a yearly tradition for our family!!
